Upcoming Review: I Love You Phillip Morris
Hey, it’s me again. Yeah, I’m that part of the team who wrote the yaoi rant and the Brokeback Mountain review, so I guess you can expect a lot more of faggotry (oh chill out, I have the N Word Privilege) coming from my side in the future.
Recently, I stumbled into a trailer for a movie called I Love You Phillip Morris.
Being a movie enthusiast and an almost vicious fighter for gay rights, it’s only natural for me wanting to rant about stuff I’m unsatisfied about. After all, mixing a movie critic type of personality with that of an activist is quite an explosive (and potentially annoying) cocktail.
So it might be interesting to see how I’ll react to this upcoming movie.
Review: Darksiders: Wrath of War
If you haven’t gone to the hyped Bayonetta yet, then you’re off to a good start. Unlike Bayonetta – In Darksiders you play as War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Initially the plot takes place in nowadays americana downtown setting, demons are meteoring onto Earth to seize control and eradicate mankind from the face of the Earth.
For odd reasons, War gets summoned to Earth to save the mankind, but is then being schemed as no call was given for him to arrive on Earth. A sacred covenant of seven seals has to be broken for the brotherhood of horsemen to arrive on Earth, till then they’re residing where ever they’re residing in Hell. War battles on only to lose as all his powers gets stripped from him, right before a rather large stage climax, only to wake up about 100 years after the incident. Read the rest of this entry »

Non-Simultaneous Game Releases.
So, here I am living in Denmark, it’s Europe for most of the non-european people. I hardly believe anyone but Germany, Sweden, Norway and perhaps even UK know about us.
What frustrates the nutcase out of me, is when I have to wait x amount of months for a game release, when the japanese people gets it before everyone else. I’m not saying it’s racial discrimination, but we should sure be thinking about it at least.
There has been quite some handfull other releases that was global. Now which game am I talking about, and why does it frustrate the nutcase out of me? Final Fantasy XIII.
Yes, I’m one of Denmarks biggest Final Fantasy fans, nerds, gamers, know-it-all, whatever. I’ve played them all, done it all, any variations and serveral times in any game with just one single character being levelled up or at low levels. You say it, I’ve done 99% of it. What I haven’t, is played Final Fantasy XIII yet, yet the Japanese and probably some chinese people are enjoying their silly lives playing it. And that makes me a very angry person.
As far I’ve been told and know, the game is 100% dubbed in english/american, which means there’s no extra time needed to translate the entire story, and get the voice-casting done for it, also the subtitles have already been made months prior to release in Japan. So what was the biggest problem of a simultaneous release, I can only contemplate why Square-Enix was unable to produce said type release. Newer games like Darksiders: Wrath of War, Read the rest of this entry »
“You have been playing for 24 hours, go to sleep!”

Have you ever gotten a similar message in the latest array of games?
I saw this first in ‘Metal Gear Solid 4‘, and then in some other MMO games like ‘EverQuest 2‘ and ‘Aion‘. For some reason the game companies think they know better than us. How long we should play? I vote no, except if you’re into the extremes like the japanese gamer that died from cardiac arrest, for sitting a week straight, only moving when he had to use the lavatory, eat or call for food. During the week, he didn’t do anything else but have a non-stop World of Warcraft game, and some random games on a console like PS3. He died, so that makes everyone else in the danger group for playing for an hour?
I’ve been sitting on my, not-very-comfy-chair for approx 12 hours straight, playing ‘Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2‘, and it didn’t cause me any harm, the game doesn’t even post any messages with “You’ve played x hours, take a break.’, I do believe this is on par with the annoying labels on cigarettes saying how dangerous it is to anyones health to smoke. BAYONETTA First Climax Demo Micro-review: All booty and music ?

From Wikipedia:
Bayonetta (ベヨネッタ, Beyonetta?) is an action game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, directed by Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe series creator Hideki Kamiya at Platinum Games in cooperation with publisher Sega. Set in a fictional city in Europe, the game centers on its title character Bayonetta, who can wield four handguns—among other weapons—and perform magical attacks to defeat various enemies. The game has five difficulty settings; its two easiest ones contain a game mode playable with only one button, similar to a mode Kamiya used in Devil May Cry. Its developers designed its characters with modern style and fashion in mind, and composed for it a largely upbeat and feminine soundtrack.
Development of the game started around January 2007, and it was released in Japan in late October 2009. It has been promoted through a television commercial with music by Japanese pop singer MiChi, look-alike searches, a theme for the Google Chrome Web browser, and an upcoming photo book and soundtracks. Critical reviews of pre-release versions have praised its easily learned moves, fast pace, boss battles, “Witch Time” slowdown mechanic, and character and stage designs. However, they lamented inconsistent frame rates, duller graphics, and technical issues in its PS3 port, as well as its use of camera angles in both versions.
This micro-review is based off the Bayonetta – First Climax Demo for the PS3 port.
Questions from teh Administer.
As the administer of this website, I have a questions regarding the general layout and design of the website.
I know we’ve changed once of late from the original layout to the current layout, however I’d like to see some changes to user accessibility, and also design as well.
Anyone regularily visiting the site, also the members as well, would kindly post a reply to this article on what you’d like to see, and if I should rework the design or find something else ?
Any other comments are welcome as well!

(Comment fields were never supposed to expire, this flaw was recently discovered and fixed now.)
Police officer fired for racist remarks

This is just one of those stories that made me lol very hard…
So here’s the deal: Diana Brälye (I don’t even know how to pronounce that shit), police officer from Copenhagen, got fired today for writing racist stuff on her blog (some two years ago, woohoo for Danish law enforcement). She wrote something like,
“How can one have any kind of respect left for minorities when they fuck up THIS much…??? Go home, already… you fucking sand niggers… this is my blog… so this is my personal opinion… and I AM ANGRY…. get the fuck out of our city and our country… I hate You… first the autonomous*…. and how the immigrants…”
Okay, so she ranted. What’s so lulzworthy about that? The reason for her ranting:
Dear Twilight Fans;
Dear Twilight Fans;
I am annoyed mother. You people are going to ruin my poor daughters’ life! (Or at least, drive me crazy!)
My daughters’ name is Esme.
I did not name my daughter after one of your vampire characters.
I didn’t even know about this series before I had her!
… Are you going to assume that every Edward you meet is named after the character? Every Jacob? (Which is one of the most common male names in North America).
Please.
Most people don’t send their lives revolving around sparkly vampires and glitter blow-jobs.
So next time you ask,
“What’s your daughter’s name? She’s So. Cute!”
You might want to consider asking Where I got the idea for her name from before you go all fangirl and squeal;
“Like, from Twilight?”
Thank you.
~Impatient Mother.
(PS: This letter could really go with any fandom… I’ve heard a lot of people tell me similiar annoying-stories about how people ask about their kids names being from famous books/movies ect.)
It’s just plain manners, kiddies. Because there will be SOMEONE out there who named their kid after what you’ve hunched on… But odds are, it’s better to ask than assume.
It just gets old FAST.
Review: Borderlands.
Woo~! Finally another review of another game recently released!
If you happen to live under a rock, and doesn’t know what Borderlands is, go check the .wiki page it’s linked to.
But what is Borderlands ?
Borderlands is basicly a brand spanking new innovative combination of my personal favorite game styles, First-Person-Shooter (FPS), and Role-Playing-Game (RPG). Generating a completely never before seen gameplay style, Role Play Shooter (RPS) makes Borderlands stand out from the crowd. Lately the games market has been overflown with single-/multiplayer editions of RPG or Shooter games for the consoles and also for PC.
This review will be focused on the Playstation 3, version of the game. So take that in consideration if you’re reading this review for consideration wether you’re about to get the game.
If you happen to be one of them losers who haven’t already gotten it!
